We just returned from the SEMA Show and after going through the hundreds of photos, thought to give some credit to the award winners. Each SEMA Show there are several receptions for their councils. I usually go to the ARMO and HRIA receptions and the SEMA Banquet. First thing on Tuesday (Day One) was the announcement of the Hottest Vehicles displayed at the SEMA Show. This year the SEMA Award presents the Hottest 4×4/SUV: Jeep Wrangler, Hottest Truck: Ford F-Series, Hottest Car: Chevrolet Camaro and new this year; Hottest Sport Compact: Fiat 500.
At the ARMO Reception, our friends at Steele Rubber won Business of the Year. At the HRIA Reception, Bob Drake was announced as the NSRA Street Rodding Achievement Award Winner, The Ring Brothers (Mike and Jim) as the 2011 Trendsetters, and Darryl Starbird announced as the Legend of Hot Rodding.
At the SEMA Awards Banquet, there were four Hall of Fame Inductees: Art Chrisman, Chris Economaki, Gray Baskerville, and John Towle.
