Gary and Cody Kinion’s 1966 Chevy II Nova
Gary shares the story of how his father bought this “goldish” colored 283 Nova for him in 1974. For years it sat on the side yard as he rummaged through junkyards finding original parts to dress it up. Items like the 2-spoke original wood option steering wheel, bumper guards, and even the under-dash tach.
Then his brother-in-law painted it white and Gary had it now for 50 years. Only a few years ago he and his son Cody resto-modded it to run on the 2022 Hot Rod Power Tour. Now they drive the poop out of it around town at cruises and car shows.
