A shop for all seasons, a shop for all reasons.
Parts and Accessories:
Cycle City Motorsports specializes in diversity. In the fall and winter, when you are out tearing up the dirt you are sure to replace that old worn riding gear for some new Troy Lee Designs. In the summer when you are taking your V-Twin through the canyons you can be sure to get a good deal with a quick maintenance check.
They consider themselves a good old-fashioned family-owned motorcycle shop but I would add to that. I think of old-fashioned as a shop that is dark with old products strewn about. In their shop you will find the latest fashions, and modern products. And, if you can’t make it to their vast Irvine/Laguna Hills shop you can always shop online with their comprehensive website. I like the “Shop By Fitment” section, where I can select my bike, ATV or even Scooter and drill-down year and model for a list of parts. You can also shop via categories or by specific catalog as well.
Full Service Center:
While you are there shopping for anything from a fuel tank vent tube to riding gear you can have your bike serviced. Their shop has six lifts and three full-time mechanics that know the ins and outs of dirt bikes and Harley baggers to boot. What a breadth of knowledge. I spoke with Justin in the shop and he shared that tire change is the most popular service and that he really digs the variety of work that comes in. One day he will be tuning a dual-sport the next he is adding some go-fast goodies to a Road King.
Racer Support:
If you have been to Speedway races you may remember the name. Cycle City Motorsports is a major sponsor for the Driggers Sidecar Speedway Racing team. While I was talking with Jr. about the support they show for the team, he admitted that they also support young dirt bike riders as well. They really appreciate the excitement and enthusiasm these young riders show both on and off the track.
Event Host:
If you haven’t noticed these guys are passionate about their industry. So-much-so that they also host several events in Orange County. Every Thursday night they host a bike-night at Original Mikes at 100 s. Main St. in Downtown Santa Ana from 7-10pm. They also just started the Hooters Lake Forest Bike Night the second Tuesday each month! Both bike nights feature a free raffle and all bikes are welcome, sport bikes, vintage, dual sport and cruisers.
