What a wonderful Herington, Kansas day. After a week of rain, cool temps and a tornado watch or two. The gearhead gods granted the Throttle Jockeys a great day to get out. This is the 5th year for this event. Had cars from Nebraska, and Missouri. Which says a lot about this great bunch of gearheads.
Curtis Hartman and Jerry Alcorn have a great bunch of men and women that keep things going smooth. This club was originally started in 55/56. They resurfaced 6 years ago and show no signs of slowing down.
The car show was in Downtown Herington and the drags were down the road at the Herington Regional Airport. The show helps the small community of Herington and some of their local charities and a scholarship for the local high school students.
Mark your date book for the last Saturday of April for a good time .
