Follow along as we install the Ford 9″ with brand new Eaton Detroit TrueTrac Differential and US Gear 3.50:1 Ring and Pinion Gear set. We do the standard break-in and get ‘er back on the Blacktop where she belongs.
On our backs, Gordon McIlonie and I muscled the rebuilt Ford 9″ pig into the rear end housing. We fill the pumpkin with AMSOIL’s cool “Easy Pack” Severe Gear oil. The Easy Pack is a collapsible bag with a pointed spout, so no funnel, pump or MESS! Great stuff.
