Today I present my two days at the 2024 SEMA Show.
I went to the SEMA Show to support SEMA Cares a charitable arm of the SEMA Organization which I am a committee member. SEMA Cares is a fundraiser for three charitable organizations. The Austin Hatcher Foundation, Childhelp and Victory Junction. These three charities are founded by or supported by automotive enthusiasts and are there to support children and families suffering from Cancer, Illness and Abuse.
The McGaughy’s Suspension family donated part of their booth to host Pinewood Derby Racing to raise funds for SEMA Cares. With several containers of cars that were decorated and designed by the kids at each of the three foundations, guests at the SEMA Show are able to pick a car, and race it for time with a daily prize of a $50 gift certificate for SEMA Gear for the fastest car of the day! Not only did their $25 donation allow them this opportunity but they also got to keep the car they chose and get a prize package from McGaughy’s Suspension!
When I was there on Wednesday, Shorty from the shows Iron Resurrection and Shorty’s Dream Garage, was signing cars to add a but more caché to the event!
Then I spent my off-time rolling through the Hot Rod, Performance and Restoration aisles of the Central Hall to meet up with my friends at Mooneyes, Jet Performance, Meguiar’s, Custom Autosound, Mother’s Polish, ARMO and HRIA and more. I also included some signature 20 cars from the hall to share with you. Sit back and enjoy.
