The NASCAR K&N Pro Series West will make its debut at Havasu 95 Speedway in Arizona on April 14. Team Cass Racing with driver Jason Fensler plan to make the race in the number 59 Beat Cancer Chevrolet.
Havasu 95 speedway is hoping for a great turn out of about 2500 fans filling the stands for the race which takes place during Spring Break. Team Cass Racing is hoping for a continuation of their awesome, though limited 2011 season. The team managed a win at All American Speedway, third place at the Bull Ring at Las Vegas Motor Speedway, and tenth at Irwindale Speedway, with just four starts during the season.
The team is planning on running a partial season, but race dates will be announced as they come. The hope is to pick up sponsors that would like to help the team succeed, make more races, and gain valuable marketing exposure for their business. Anyone interested in this opportunity can email teamcassracing@hotmail.com or check out the team at facebook.com/teamcassracing.
Until sponsors are found, the car will continue to feature the Beat Cancer decal along with the cancer awareness ribbons and names of survivors, those fighting cancer, and loved ones that were lost. Team Cass Racing owner, Terri Cass, wants to bring awareness to the horrible disease that claimed the lives of very close family members.
