Rodders to the Rescue

Well you can officially call this 2nd annual car show  one for the dogs. The 2nd annual “Rodders to the Rescue ” For the Heart Of Jackson Animal Shelter in Holton Kansas. And it was a dog day of summer, summer is not even here yet.

All kidding aside Joseph Porey with the help of his friends put on a good show. The show is for a good cause. about 65 entrants braved the soaring temp as it was pushing the temp gage to 100. Did I mention that it is not summer yet ?

Anyway JP had the tough chore of photographing 3 pin ups that were smiling and not sweating the heat and looking marvellous for the camera. There was Kaylee, Hannah and Stephanie Widler, and I predict that we will be seeing this one more as summer comes on.

We would like to thank the people and management of  Banner Creek State Park and lake fore letting a show like this take place. A clean and accommodating lake. I will admit that jumping into the lake was tempting.

Also we would like to say a big thanks to Mark and Linda Ripley for making the trip and laying down some smooth lines.
