Like any great event, there are events within the event. This is true at the recent and very first Grand National Truck Show! The event is promoted by Rod Shows the same team that puts on the Sacramento Autorama and the Grand National Roadster Show. In-fact, at this years Roadster Show, John Buck and his team found that over 30% of the vehicles on display were trucks and vans, so why not try out a show of its own.
Held at the Los Angeles County Fairplex in Pomona, California, the event took over two buildings and about half the grounds as GNRS. And the vehicles could not have been better. Such a great variety of trucks from mini trucks, early Ford RPU’s and even a semi. And there were vans. Over 2 dozen custom vans filled a good section of Building 4. We hang out with Pinky diggin on the vans.
