Blacktop Midwest Correspondent Clinton Powell shares this great little show:
Paul Kruse orchestrates this awesome car show in the the little town of Gypsum Kansas. The town population is around four hundred people. You could have fooled me that day. I would say a couple thousand may have been in attendance and at least 200 car entries.
I highly encourage anyone to visit this small town of Gypsum Kansas, and if your not into cars, their was plenty of cool things to enjoy, the exit 14 restaurant, Gypsum Flea Market-Antiques & Vintage and many other varieties of vendors. Something for everyone honestly. I hope everyone enjoys the photos, I have a ton more to work, and I’ll add through out the week, but for now is a good stopping point. Feel free to tag anyone’s ride you recognize. This was all new territory for me….and what a blast it was meeting so many great people all in one spot!
And how do you promote a show that is a success. You don’t. The only announcement was on fb. This is the 3rd year and it has out done last year by 100 entrants. So if your looking for a destination the last Sunday of May, head on down to Gypsum.
Oh I almost forgot to mention, trophy class winners are awarded a whole pie for a trophy, Paul sure combined his love of pie and fine automobiles into one fun event for the whole family.
