Another great summer party.
Story/Photos: John Oro
From massive tens’ of thousand attendees to more intimate BBQ lunches, Chico and the Mooneyes crew know how to connect with their customers.
They enlisted Hot Rod Trio to rock the lot with jammin’ rock-a-billy music. A handful of vendors flanked the bar-be-cue. I was awestruck (again) with the work of Keith Weesner. I picked up a poster that will soon be framed and hanging in the Shocker Choppers Garage.
Out on the lawn we connected with newlyweds Dixie and George from the Daggers club, and hung out with Bill from the Mercifuls who introduced me to an up-coming model Victoria Dare.
What I like best about this show is seeing the inner-workings of Mooneyes manufacturing. There are project vehicles, and fresh new valve covers in various stages of production. Learn more about Mooneyes at www.MooneyesUSA.com
