A Mini-Bike goes under the knife at Shocker Choppers Garage
Photos/Story: T-Bone
We picked up this Baja Desert Runner about a year ago and have been terrorizing our quiet neighborhood on slow weekends. In between time, we have been making slight modifications without any real plan in sight.
The “tank” in the top of the back-bone is a bent piece of sheetmetal. We have taken it off, added a Heineken mini-keg for fun and ran it bare too. Although bare, is a bit too spry so we painted it to match the Cruizin Cooler. Looks like we will add a seat pan instead of the bicycle seat , some mini-apes, and floorboards before we tear it down for a new paint job. While torn down, we plan to add custom exhaust and by-pass the regulator.
We like this bike, because it is the first two-wheeler Billy has been able to ride in 20 years! Check out the video we just produced of our riding.
Stay tuned.
