1926 Ford Model T RPU on a Model A Chassis
This story starts a long time ago. In 1958 two Arcadia High School buddies Ross Heale and Jack Foye pick up this little hot rod to run around town in. The Cadillac mill and later 341 Hemi were never quite enough for them as they roll up to Fomoso Dragstrip in Bakersfield, California.
The 354 Hemi is soon swapped in with a 2-speed powerglide trans. The chain drive blower with two 4bbl carbs bring the power in. There’s an opening on the firewall that is now closed for when Ross would reach down and tune the timing while he was driving! Nuts I say. By the mid 1960’s the car is stored as life got in the way and 30+ years later Jack Foye restored the car to what you see today. It was featured in the May 2010 issue of Hot Rod Deluxe magazine. DIG IT!
