Steve Clark’s 1967 Chevrolet Camaro SS
Have you ever noticed a car for the first time at a regular cruise night? For instance, I go the Historic Main Street Garden Grove Car Show on a regular basis and you see a lot of regulars (err, Hoolligans) and some newbies too. Well this week, a certain super-clean ’67 Camaro caught my eye. I mean, I was really struck by it. And I thought I have seen my share of first gen Camaros. Especially after working at Classic Industries for two and a half years.
But, man. That marina blue with a black vinyl top, just sat right. I couldn’t take my eyes off it standing there talking to my buddy Steve across the street. He saw I was distracted and when he saw the car, he knew. He knew it was special.
It didn’t take long to introduce myself to owner.
He replied: “Hi, I’m Steve Clark. I have had that car for 50 years.”
