It was a great call. A call we all like getting. “Hey Tony, we’ve got an extra ticket for the drags today. You wanna go?” It was my friend Marc. He said to call John and work out the logistics. Looks like we will go after Donut Derelicts on Saturday.
It was a brisk day on the track with a headwind coming right down the track. The boys had tickets to the Top Eliminators Club and what a way to go. A swanky tent filled with breakfast and lunch and great seats about 4 rows up from the start line! We rolled through the pits and over to the “Rumble in the Junction” dubbed; the Ultimate Cacklefest. John introduced us to a Gary and his son Andy. A young guy who just finished building his front engine dragster. A dragster his dad has wanted for 40 years and they built it in the past 4 years together.
