Genevieve at the Snake and Mongoose Film Set

Many of you know I work quite a bit with Genevieve Chappell, The Queen of Cars. A little while back she was invited to the set on the last day of filming “Snake & Mongoose” feature film. The movie is a moderately budgeted independent biography following the lives, friendship, rivalry and partnership of the drag racers Don Prudhomme and Tom McEwen — known universally to fans as Snake and Mongoose.

Rumors had it that Genevieve Chappell would be playing a bit part as Miss Golden Hurst Shifter; Linda Vaughn. However, due to some last minute script changes, the speaking role was nixed. “No worries” Genevieve said professionally. This sort of thing happens all the time in Hollywood. It was a great opportunity to be a part of the film, and we had a blast hanging out with Don and Tom. Note: The producer commented that Genevieve will be credited as playing the role of Linda Vaughn. The film is slated to be released in the spring of 2013. In the meantime visit: snakeandmongoosemovie.com.

So what else has the Queen of Cars been up to? Genevieve, the quintessential businesswoman has been developing a couple of different television projects including one that focus’ on the Southern California Car Show scene and another that takes an in-depth, behind the scenes look at builders and collectors. She is also developing photo opportunities for classic, hot rod, custom and collector car owners as well as other spokesperson ventures. Take a visit to her website at TheQueenofCars.com.
