Bruce Block wins the Unlimited Heads-up Class at East Coast Diesel Nationals at Numidia Dragway
Bruce Block takes the Championship in the Heads-up Unlimited Diesel Drag racing at Numidia Dragway on Saturday, July 16th! With over 10 other trucks in the class these trucks all run in the 9-10 second in the quarter mile. All of these trucks are trailered in and built for speed on the track.
This is a “DIESEL ONLY” event where DIESEL Motorsports held three different classes of racing where over 90 trucks competed for cash prizes.
Bruce Block in his 2004 Dodge Ram ran three times to get to the top with a final run against Chris Nolt in his 2006 Dodge. Both trucks had run over 144 mph in the quarter during the day, both very fast trucks in their own rights. During the final run and halfway down the track Chris Nolt blew his turbo giving the edge and win to Bruce.
The East Coast Diesel Nationals at Numidia Dragway in Pennsylvania was held over 7 years ago by DIESEL Motorsports for the first time, this made the eighth annual event. It is the only venue for diesels where the fans can watch “DIESEL ONLY” racing and pulling at the same time since the tracks are built right next to each other.
Other activities included the Mass Diesel Dyno competition and Mothers Show-N-Shine along with a vendor alley.
