Today’s episode of Motor Minute, we meet up with buddy Rick Kersh and ask him to share the incredible story of this 1929 Ford Sedan Delivery. We also include a special photoshoot of Mandy with Rick’s Delivery for a Cambra Speed Shop calendar with Rick dressed as Santa.
Rick’s dad started building this car by chopping the top in 1947. He also upholstered the interior and the top using a pedal run sewing machine. It started with a flathead and quickly added an Olds Rocket engine.
Ten years later he sold the car and the new owner quickly took it all apart to never put it together again. It sat in a garage for nearly 50 years, until Rick found it in 2007 from a friends tip. The owner wouldn’t sell it to him.
Five years later he passed away and Rick was able to buy it from his wife. He then put it all back together like his dad had it in the mid Fifties.
