Cruisin’ Brea Father’s Day Car Show

Brea, California June 15, 2025

If you like going to a car show where there are is a vibrant and enthusiastic crowd of spectators, then this, my friend, is a show for you. Each year Cruisin’ Brea is held on Father’s Day downtown Brea California is a buzz with over 400 classic, exotic, custom, and collector cars line the streets in front of nice restaurants, shops and theaters. The roll-in is early around 7am for a show that officially opens at 10am and runs until 4 in the afternoon. 30 “Best of Show” plaques are awarded along with a handful of specialty trophies.

I like this show because of the people who come up. Tons of families celebrating Father’s Day, kids with great questions and bright eyes. Dads with big smiles, everyone having a good time. Most of the time I am there to help the crew at Cambra Speed Shop who is a main sponsor. I get a kick talking to the people and hearing what they have to say about the cars. Cambra Final Assembly tech Dave Preciado brought his ’56 Ford Parklane which he restored years ago for a customer who recently sold it to him. A green on green on green beauty that got tons of attention.

Craig, from Flying Deuces (the show promoter) could not make it to the show this year due to some health issues, but his team did a fantastic job with no real hiccups in the day. Craig has since recovered and on the mend, so we hope to see him soon at the next events in La Verne and Brea for the holiday season.
