Annual Run to Get the Cobwebs Out.

Each year in Fall, we make it a point to schedule a run on the bikes. The ride is from the city through the mountains and down the coast hitting some hot spots along the way. Want to go along? The ride makes several stops and usually takes the day to complete.
Billy planned the ride back in 2006 going to and from one of his favorite events; The Griffith Park Sidecar Rally. 2006 was the 35th year of the event. A couple of years ago we dubbed the excursion; The Billy Run. We usually leave from different places in Orange County and get to the rally in the morning as it is first getting underway, watch some of the rigs roll in and check out the show for about an hour or so, then head to destination #2 The Rock Store on Mulholland Hwy. We head North/West on 101 and exit Topanga Canyon and head for the hills. From there we head west on the highway to the Rock Store. We usually take in lunch at this time and hang out for a while checking out the bikes that come and go. From there we continue on the highway and down to Malibu were we make another stop along the coast for a photo op with the blue Pacific as our backdrop. We continue south on PCH to Santa Monica and Venice where we usually hit the freeway and ride together as each breaks off on their own way home.
